Move Out Information
If you are considering moving, please read through and follow these useful instructions:
- If your lease is month-to-month, you must give at least 30 days notice from the date your rent is due.
- Move-out inspections will be scheduled after the house has been vacated and cleaned. Locks will be changed on the day of the scheduled move-out inspection.
- You must be completely moved out on or before the last day of your lease, which falls on the last day of the month. Moving out on, or after, the first of the following month will result in additional rent due.
- Security deposits do not apply to your last month of rent.
- Be sure to completely clean the entire house, including: all cabinets, flooring, windows, mirrors, etc. If the house is not left in the same condition as it was at your move-in, charges will be deducted from your security deposit.
- Remove all personal property and trash from the entire property (both inside and outside) and have landscaping in neat order. Failure to dispose of personal items and trash, and failure to maintain landscaping, will result in charges against your security deposit.
- Gather all your keys (entrance, mailbox, pool, etc) and remote controls to turn over to the landlord upon move out.
